July 25, 2018 - Savatrans 1912 heads up an empty coal train as it waits for a crew at the Sitran Dock, at Mount Vernon, Indiana. The Chris Cline Group are owners of the company "Savatrans" which purchased three ES44AC locomotives which operate from Sugar Camp Mine in Akin, IL to the coal terminal near the Mount Vernon/West Franklin area for loading onto barges.
Jim worked as a photojournalist for The Messenger Newspaper in Madisonville, Kentucky for 17 years, a daily newspaper that serves the Western Kentucky market. Before that he served as a Photojournalist in the United States Air Force for 24 years, where he traveled the world photographing military operations as a member of Combat Camera. Today he freelances and produces Fine Art Photography that intrigues him and hopefully you the viewer.
