A railgrinder (or rail grinder) is a maintenance of way vehicle or train used to restore the profile and remove irregularities from worn rail track to extend its life and to improve the ride of trains using the track. - Tech Info: 1/2500 | f/6.3 | ISO 2000 | Lens: Lens: Sigma 150-600mm @ 600mm on a Nikon D800 shot and processed in RAW.
About Jim Pearson
Jim worked as a photojournalist for The Messenger Newspaper in Madisonville, Kentucky for 17 years, a daily newspaper that serves the Western Kentucky market. Before that he served as a Photojournalist in the United States Air Force for 24 years, where he traveled the world photographing military operations as a member of Combat Camera.
